Notice of Claim Procedure
Claim means any Litigation in a state or federal court of law in which Damages are sought from the Member, as defined in the Coverage Agreement.
As a condition precedent to any coverage provided by the applicable ARMS coverage agreement, a Member board must give written notice to ARMS or its designee within 15 days of service of any Claim on a Member. ARMS coverage will not apply to a Claim reported more than 15 days after receipt by any Member.
To report a Claim a Member board must simply provide a copy of the Summons and Complaint served on any Member to the following:

A Member must not admit any liability, offer to settle any Claim, incur any cost, or retain any attorney, the cost of which the Member expects ARMS to pay.
Please do not report Incidents resulting in injuries or property damage the cost of which is clearly below the Member’s per claim deductible. Please do not report Incidents until Litigation is instigated in a state of federal court of law and a Summons and Complaint have been served on the Member.
